Cedar Hall

We are so excited to be partnering with Cedar Hall as we seek to love the students and families of our community. Cedar Hall Community School is the highest-poverty school in the EVSC. Below you will hear about their history and mission.

Located on North Fulton Ave., Cedar Hall Community School includes state-of-the-art technology that allows students the opportunity to reach their maximum potential and be fully engaged in their learning. Being a PreK through eighth-grade school, Cedar Hall Community School allows students to maintain a relationship with their peers, faculty, and staff without having to relocate to a different school. Cedar Hall Community School, a full-service community school, offers a preschool program, intervention, and literacy groups, after-school tutoring, summer school, continuous professional development for staff, and 21st-century Century Summer and after-school programs. Cedar Hall students move to Central High School following the completion of eighth grade.

We would love to continue partnering with Cedar Hall this school year to create a Helping Hands program for the 24-25 school year. We will connect a city church volunteer with each classroom. That volunteer would be able to support and pray for their assigned classroom throughout the year. Click HERE to sign up for Helping Hands.  We will also continue to supply teachers with supplies and teacher appreciation lunches and will continue to host our annual Cedar Hall Toy Shop on December 17th, 2024.
