Isaiah 117 House

City Church is thrilled to partner with Isaiah 117 House! Below you will hear the heart and vision behind this amazing organization and why we view it as a vital partner in our effort to love our City!

Isaiah 117 House is an organization that helps kids while they are waiting on foster care placement, which can be several hours or days. We can only imagine how scared these children are being removed from their homes. So, Isaiah 117 house reduces the trauma for these children and helps for a smooth transition into foster families. It also helps the child welfare staff who are overworked and underpaid.

This year we would love to support this organization by finding volunteers who are willing to be trained and scheduled monthly to help love and support these children as caregivers. We will be promoting and educating our church on this organization during the month of May and will have a Caregiver Training on May 26th 10:30-12:30 *Free lunch provided! Click this link to sign up for the training! We will also be doing a donation collection for new clothes sizes infant-adult as well as underwear, bras, and pillows and a work day during the month of September!  Lastly, City Church will sponsor a room renovation in the home.
