City Church is thrilled to partner with Albion Center! Below you will hear the heart and vision behind this amazing organization, and why we view it as a vital partner in our effort to love our City!

Albion Center is the only shelter in Evansville that accepts men, women, children, and pets. Pets are often a barrier for people leaving unsafe information. It is an incredible organization that serves over 3000 people in 11 counties in Southern Indiana each year, not including its 24/7 hotline that filters 10000 phone calls a year. The Albion Center offers the only rape crisis center in the area as well as the only center that offers free HIV and hepatitis testing. Along with peace of mind counseling that comes with these results.

This year we plan to provide meals for the residents, financially assist with a kitchen upgrade, promote their initiatives as well offer collections for their residents throughout the year. City Church would also like to create teams to aid with cleaning quarterly, assembling welcome baskets, and working on their garden through the summer.
