Middle school can be a very awkward time in life. Not only can it be awkward for students growing up during this age, they are intensely curious. Students are faced with life pressing questions that they may not know how to tackle. At City Church our goal is to help equip students with knowledge and understanding of the Gospel and the implications for their lives as well as equip them with life skills.

Parents, do you remember the time you were in high school? I remember being pulled in multiple directions while still trying to figure out who I was and what I wanted in life. At City Church, we realize that high school can be a difficult time and a time that needs structure but more importantly, room to grow. With the Gospel and relational ministry at our focus, we want nothing more than to help disciple high school students both Biblically and in real life situations so that they are ready for what is next for them in life.
City Nights is hosted around the Evansville area every first Sunday of the month. During this time, middle and high school students get the chance to build relationships outside of the walls of City Church. We’ll catch a movie, visit popular restaurants, go bowling, etc.
Middle School: 5-7 p.m.
High School: 7-9 p.m.
It is also important to know that every first Sunday, middle school students sit in the main service with the rest of the congregation. This challenges the students to be a part of something bigger than just their youth group.
I’m a Saturday morning cartoon kind of guy. It doesn’t take much to make me happy. I love games, sports, and most importantly, the Gospel. I am married to Tiera Korach and could not have asked for anyone more supportive than she is. The Gospel of Jesus is my main prerogative because I believe a healthy change comes naturally from it.
